San Francisco-based Aer has spent a decade making the quiet argument that a bag can be engineered without being theatrical. The City Pack Pro 2 - the second generation of their most successful model, released in 2025 - makes the case with characteristic understatement: 24 litres, 1680D bluesign-certified CORDURA ballistic nylon, YKK coated zippers, Duraflex hardware throughout. The V2 changes are substantive rather than cosmetic - a self-standing padded base, a second side bottle pocket, revised laptop sleeve sized for machines up to 16 inches, and a luggage pass-through that fits most roller handles. It satisfies carry-on requirements as a personal item. X-Pac and Challenge Ultra400X variants exist for those requiring full weather resistance. At $209, it undercuts comparable bags from Bellroy and Fjällräven whilst matching them on construction specification. Olive and navy are currently in stock.
